How I Freed Myself From The Masculine Way of Running My Business

masculine and feminine energy

I recently made a decision in the way I approach my business that is a 180 degree shift to what I’ve been doing.

After years of going outside myself, I quieted the noise, went inside and connected to my internal guidance on what is in alignment with my soul.

During a meditation one day I heard: You have the resources, now utilize them.

Upon further connection, I observed all the times I’ve looked to others for validation, acceptance and approval.

And in one of my moments of clarity, I realized I created a feminine led business in a very masculine way  - pushing, striving, creating from fear and seeking approval from others.

This way did not align with where my heart has been guiding me, yet, this experience taught me some very beneficial lessons of trust, connection and value.

We often grip onto this old way of being, a way we’ve been conditioned to believe and that if we take a step back to reassess, we’re somehow lacking or missing out.

This way of thinking sends us into a spiral of self-doubt, lack of belief/confidence and the feeling of wanting to quit.

What has kept me going has been this quiet voice within me,  nudging me forward, and supporting in a way that feels comforting - like a good friend.

My energetics and values have shifted and evolved over the years.  Now that I can see with more clarity, all the pieces and healing that needed to take place for me to arrive here more deeply connected to my vision and my values.

I’ve always had this deep need for soul-to-soul connection with the women I serve and it’s really important for me to discover how to reach these women in a way that feels aligned.

Taking a softer and gentler approach with my intuitive and healing offerings builds connection and I’ve found this through my email community and writings on my website.

For feminine led women the noise of social media can be a bit much and overwhelming at times, slowing the pace of life by consuming in a way that feels calming to the nervous system can be a way to begin to connect to our own internal guidance.

Learning to trust the calm, steady voice within can sometimes feel hard if we’ve been conditioned to listen to others most of our life. Yet, when we can quiet the external noise, we create space to allow these intuitive messages to come through.

I talk about this concept of ego vs intuition in the work I do with women and I truly believe that we are all intuitive and have this ability to receive guidance in a way that feels aligned to our souls. It just takes a bit of intention and practice.

So what I’m really untangling  - slowing down and reassessing can feel like taking a step back, yet this is what’s needed to move forward.

I often say to the women I work with, we’re all on our own journey, similar maybe, yet never the same. This is why it’s so important when we receive guidance to check in internally and discern what feels in alignment to our values.

If the feeling is anxious or makes us feel scared/panicked  - know this is ego

If the feeling is calm and steady - know this is our inner guide communicating with us.

My current offerings are curated in what I call The Pathway - a gentle approach for women who are looking for support and guidance in a way that feels aligned to them no matter where they’re at on their journey.

There is no right or wrong way in which path to choose because when our souls are leading the way there is no wrong decision.

It feels so aligned at the moment to shift my business in a more softer and gentler way because I know this will create a deeper sense of connection between myself, the women I work with and those who are looking for this type of support.

Connection + community is the foundation of everything I do and create and I’m feeling very grateful that I can serve in this way.
